POLK COUNTY, IA - A female driver was hurt in a crash on NW Madrid Dr following a police pursuit throughout Polk County on Tuesday, according to KCCI.
A woman was driving an SUV erratically near NW 142nd St and NW 158th Ave when she caught the attention of authorities around 10 a.m. Police attempted to pull the woman over, but she refused.
The chase ended near NW Madrid Dr when the driver crashed into a ditch before colliding with multiple trees around 10:45.
Rescue crews transported the driver to an area hospital in unknown condition.
