PLEASANT HILL, IA - A hit-and-run driver struck a 5-year-old child on Sherrylynn Blvd Friday, according to KCCI.
A 19-year-old male did not stop for a school bus and hit one of the students exiting the vehicle before fleeing the scene. Video cameras caught this on the bus.
Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities arrested the driver and charged him with driving without a valid driver's license and leaving the scene of a crash.
