BONDURANT, IA - According to Des Moines Register, a driver struck and injured a bicyclist on the 7400 block of NE 64th St Wednesday.
The driver was heading south on NE 64th St when they hit the 64-year-old male bicyclist as he was heading east on the bike path around 1:30 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the bicyclist to an area hospital in critical condition.
Following the collision, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
