IOWA CITY, IA – A driver fatally struck a pedestrian at Melrose Ave and Kennedy Pkwy on May 22, according to KCCI.
A 16-year-old male was driving when he hit a 45-year-old male who was jogging at around 4:16 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the pedestrian to an area hospital, where he died on June 4.
Authorities cited the driver with Failure to Yield to a Pedestrian in a Crosswalk.
