THORNTON, IA – According to the Iowa State Patrol, one person was hurt in a two-vehicle collision at 150 St and Grouse Ave Wednesday.
A 69-year-old male was driving a Honda HR-V west on 150 St when they ran a stop sign at the intersection with Grouse Ave due to icy roads and collided with a 25-year-old male driving a Ford F-350 around 2:55 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the 69-year-old male to an area hospital.
The incident is under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
