STORY COUNTY, IA - A driver fatally collided with another vehicle while eluding police on IA 210 near Maxwell Wednesday, according to WHO 13.
A 30-year-old male was fleeing from police at excessive speeds on eastbound IA 210 when he slammed into the rear of a vehicle driven by a 51-year-old male.
The collision caused both cars to overturn.
Rescue crews pronounced the 51-year-old dead at the scene of the accident.
Authorities arrested the 30-year-old and charged him with vehicular homicide, interference with official acts, two counts of eluding, and traffic offenses.
