POWESHIEK CO., IA - A man was killed Monday evening in a collision involving a grain wagon near the town of Brooklyn.
According to a report by WOI, a 68-year-old man was driving north on County Road V18 at about 6 p.m. when his vehicle slammed into the rear of the grain wagon.
The man's vehicle then skidded of the roadway and crashed into a ditch. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
The driver of the tractor was transported to Grinnell Hospital with unspecified injuries.
