News: Crews respond to multi-vehicle crash on I-380 in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA - Rush-hour commuters in Cedar Rapids were called to the scene of a crash on I-380 Thursday morning.

According to a report by Iowa 511, the collision took place shortly after 9 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the interstate, between Exit 19 to 5th Avenue and Exit 18 to Wilson Avenue.

Details concerning the cause of the crash are unclear at this time. However, traffic was delayed in the area for some time afterward while crews worked to clear the scene.
