FORT DODGE, IA- Officials reported and responded to a fire in a backyard on 12th Avenue in Fort Dodge on Saturday afternoon, according to local news sources.
At approximately 3:30pm, Fort Dodge Fire Department officials responded to and extinguished the backyard fire near the area of 1616 12th Avenue Southwest. The fire was put out before it spread to the main house. The cause of the fire is not clear at this time, but there were multiple possible causes in the yard itself, and the property has experienced fires before.
