CEDAR RAPIDS, IA -- One person was injured late Friday morning in a rollover collision on 80th Street Southwest near southwest Cedar Rapids, reports KCRG.
Linn County deputies and crews with both Fairfax Fire and Area Ambulance responded to the scene near Roncalli Drive at around 11:36 a.m.
A preliminary investigation indicates the victim was behind the wheel of a vehicle when they lost control due to icy road conditions. The vehicle slid off the roadway and flipped end-over-end down the west-side ditch.
Medics rushed the victim to a local hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening.
No other injuries were reported and no other occupants or vehicles appeared to have been involved.
