DES MOINES, IA- A pedestrian was struck and injured by a pickup truck near a Dean Avenue intersection in Des Moines on Monday morning, according to Des Moines Police Reporting.
At approximately 5:25am, officials responded to reports of a vehicle and pedestrian collision near the intersection of Dean Avenue and East 15th Street.
The pedestrian was injured due to the crash and transported to an area hospital for treatment. The road was closed for approximately 90 minutes due to the collision. The incident is still under investigation.
