VAN METER, IA- One person was hospitalized and subsequently died due to an I-80 collision near Van Meter on Friday morning, according to Iowa Accident Reporting.
At approximately 6:45am, officials responded to a collision caused by traffic congestion due to another crash when a vehicle rear-ended another car, causing a multi-vehicle crash. One person was hospitalized due to the incident and died due to related injuries.
