GRINNELL, IA- Officials reported and responded to a vehicle fire on the I-80 westbound roadway near Grinnell and Oakland Acres early Wednesday, according to Statewide Iowa 511 Reporting.
At approximately 3:00am, officials responded to the area between Exit 179 towards County Road T38 and Exit 173 towards IA-224 due to reports of a vehicle fire. The road was closed due to the incident. No further details on the cause or nature of the incident have been released at this time.
