DES MOINES, IA- One person was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Des Moines on East University Avenue on Thursday afternoon, according to CBS Iowa.
At approximately 3:45pm, officials responded to reports of a teenaged pedestrian struck and killed in a hit-and-run near the 1600 block of East University Avenue. The pedestrian was critically injured, and was later pronounced dead at an area hospital. The car was reported as a tan vehicle, however, they did not stop at the scene.
