HARDIN CO., IA – A man died and another was seriously injured following a crash in Hardin County last Friday morning.
According to a report by KCCI, the crash occurred as the 18-year-old driver of a pickup truck crossed into the oncoming lanes of Highway 20 at about 10:30 a.m.
The truck crossed the median and slammed head-on into an oncoming SUV.
The driver of the SUV, a 61-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The teen was airlifted to MercyOne hospital in Des Moines for treatment.
