DES MOINES, IA - Commuters in north Des Moines faced major delays resulting from a Thursday afternoon crash.
According to Iowa 511, the collision was first reported at about 3:13 p.m. along the southbound lanes of I-35, near the South Skunk River overpass.

The right shoulder was blocked for some time after the crash while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
