DES MOINES, IA - Officers responded to the scene of a crash along US-6 in northeast Des Moines this afternoon, Iowa 511 reports.
The accident took place shortly after 2:30 p.m. on the eastbound side of US-6, near the I-235 overpass.

The cause of the crash has not yet been released to the public. However, at least one left lane on US-6 was blocked for some time afterward, causing delays going back to East 29th St.
It is unclear at this time if anyone was injured as a direct result of the crash.
