GRANDVIEW, IA - According to KWQC, a fatal house fire was reported on the 200 block of N Madison St on Tuesday.
Dispatchers received calls concerning the fire around 6:17 a.m. Deputies arrived at the scene at 6:23 a.m. They could not enter the home due to the fire and smoke coming from the house.
Firefighters arrived at the scene at 6:29 a.m.
Once the fire was put out, crews found a dead body and two dead dogs inside the home.
The State of Iowa Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the incident.
