MARENGO, IA - A married couple is suing Heartland Crush LLC after the husband was hurt in the plant explosion on Dec. 8, 2022, according to KCCI.
The explosion blew the husband off a ladder, sending him flying across the plant's floor.
In the lawsuit, the husband says he suffered severe burns.
The couple claims Heartland Crush LLC was negligent and failed to uphold safety standards.
