DES MOINES, IA- At least one injury was reported and confirmed in an accident in the intersection of University Avenue and 6th Avenue on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Des Moines Police Department.

At approximately 3:09pm, officials reported the collision in the intersection of 6th Avenue and University Avenue. No details on the cause or nature of the incident have been confirmed at this time. At least one injury resulted from the incident.
