News: Graettinger woman killed in Emmet County crash

EMMET CO., IA - A woman was killed in a single-vehicle rollover collision in Emmet county on August 23rd.

According to Northern Iowa Today, the incident was first reported at about 10:26 a.m. when a 2011 Toyota Tundra skidded off the roadway within the 1700 block of 490th Avenue.

The truck struck a ditch before flipping over on its roof, trapping the 66-year-old female driver inside.

The woman was extricated and transported to Avera Holy Family Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries later on.

The cause of the crash remains unclear at this time.
