News: Fatigued driver causes multi-vehicle crash in Webster Co.

WEBSTER CO., IA - One person was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash caused by a fatigued driver in Webster County on Wednesday.

According toYour Fort Dodge, the crash occurred along Paragon Avenue, just south of the intersection with 150th Street.

Investigators say the driver of a southbound vehicle fell asleep behind the wheel and crossed the dividing line. The vehicle then crashed into another, causing the first vehicle to catch on fire.

The driver in the second vehicle was transported to Unity Point Fort Dodge hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
