CHARLES CITY, IA – A bus driver and four students were injured after a bus overturned Monday afternoon.
KCHA reports that the accident took place at the 1700 block of Victory Avenue at around 4:00 p.m., when the bus was going northbound entered a ditch, and overturned onto its side.
Four students and the driver were taken to the Floyd County medical center for their minor injuries.
The remaining students were either taken by a bus that was dispatched to take them home or picked up by parents at the site of the crash.
There were around 20 students on the bus at the time of the accident.
