MONROE COUNTY, IA - According to KCCI, police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that happened on US 34 Wednesday.
A 30-year-old male was driving a pickup truck when he strayed into oncoming traffic and collided with a semi-truck on the driver's side.
The collision caused the pickup truck to roll over and land on its top.
Rescue crews pronounced the pickup truck driver dead at the scene of the accident and transported his passenger, a 37-year-old male to an area hospital.
The semi-truck driver was not injured in the incident.
