
Adam Kiel
About
Adam grew up in central Illinois before moving to Des Moines to attend Drake University. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Drake University as well as his Juris Doctorate from Drake Law School. During his time at Drake, he was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity, the Student Bar Association, and played Club Soccer. While in law school he competed on the Arbitrations team and placed in the top 8 the ABA National Arbitrations competition. Adam also practiced as a Student Attorney at Drake’s General Civil Practice Clinic representing clients in a variety of family law proceedings.
Adam practices primarily in the area of family law (including divorce, child custody, termination of parental rights proceedings, adoptions, and civil no contact order proceedings), while also practicing in Workers’ Compensation.
Adam is an avid sports fan specifically for the Drake basketball program, the St. Louis Cardinals, and Hawkeye football. He enjoys spending his free time on the trails with his dog Rookie, playing volleyball or on the golf course.
