DES MOINES, IA – According to KCCI, a dog died in a fire on E Ovid Ave Tuesday.
A female resident woke up to flame in her bedroom. She and the other occupants of the house were able to exit the home safely.
Firefighters responded to the house around 4 a.m.
It is unclear what caused the fire.
