RINGGOLD COUNTY, IA - According toWe Are Iowa, one teen died and two teens were injured in a single-vehicle collision on County Hwy P33 in Ringgold County Friday.
A 15-year-old female driver was heading south on County Hwy P33 when she swerved to avoid hitting a deer and crashed into a ditch before rolling over.
The 15-year-old driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was partially ejected from the vehicle.
Rescue crews pronounced the 15-year-old driver dead at the scene and transported her two teen passengers to an area hospital, where they were treated and released.
