DAVIS COUNTY, IA – According to KTVO, a man died when a driver rear-ended the horse-drawn cart he was operating on Ice Ave near Bloomfield Monday.
A 60-year-old male was driving a Chevy Impala south on Ice Ave when he rear-ended the horse-draw cart driving by a 35-year-old male around 7:23 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the 35-year-old dead at the scene.
Authorities charged the 60-year-old with failure to maintain control of the vehicle.
