GRIMES, IA - According to Who 13, a fire broke out at the Metro Recycling Facility at 4185 SE Beisser Dr on Tuesday.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene around 4 p.m.
Employees at the facility were evacuated via the maintenance side of the building by the time emergency crews arrived.
Firefighters had the fire under control quickly. They stayed at the scene looking for hot spots after extinguishing the fire.
It is unclear what caused the incident.
