DES MOINES, IA - According to KCCI, a driver struck a male pedestrian at E 9th St and E University Ave on Saturday.
The victim ran into the street after leaving a convenience store around 7:30 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the pedestrian to an area hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.
