DES MOINES, IA - Emergency crews discovered a dead body during their response to a commercial fire on the 2100 block of East Euclid Ave on Thursday, according to WHO 13.

Firefighters responded to the blaze around 2:20 p.m. The exterior of the building was on fire. The crews extinguished the flames. They found the body once they entered the structure.

The victim lived in a tent inside the building and used a wood-burning heat source for warmth. Combustibles were found around the body.
