ANKENY, IA - Firefighters battled a blaze at the Popeyes Chicken located at 3155 N. Ankeny Blvd on Wednesday, according to WHO 13.
The fire started in the kitchen around 1 a.m. Crews saw smoke pouring from the roof when they arrived at the scene.
Crews extinguished the fire and ventilated the restaurant.
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
It is unclear what caused the fire.
