News: Dog dies following fire on Main St in Center Point

CENTER POINT, IA - According to the Linn County Sheriff's Office, a dog died in a fire at 121 Main St on Monday.

Firefighters responded to the house around 6:41 p.m. They quickly extinguished the fire.

Two dogs were inside the house. One of the dogs died. Rescue crews revived the other one.

Nobody was home during the fire and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
