News: 1 injured following 2-vehicle crash in Linn County

LINN COUNTY, IA - According to the Linn County Sheriff's Office, one person was hurt in a two-vehicle collision at IA 13 and Blaines Crossing Rd on Thursday.

A 46-year-old was driving a Nissan Armada south on IA 13 when they failed to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic as they turned onto Blaines Cross Rd and collided with a 21-year-old male driving a Ford Ranger.

Rescue crews transported the 46-year-old driver to an area hospital with minor injuries. The Ford Ranger driver was not hurt in the incident.

Authorities charged the 46-year-old with failure to yield upon entering a through highway.
