News: 1 hurt in motorcycle crash in Linn County

LINN COUNTY, IA - A motorcyclist was hurt when he crashed into a ditch near Lafayette Rd and Alice Rd Monday, according to the Linn County Sheriff's Office.

Nathan Wilson, 22, was riding the motorcycle east on Lafayette Rd when he lost control of the vehicle and went into a ditch. The collision ejected Wilson about 20 yards away from the motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet.

Rescue crews transported Wilson to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities charged Wilson with Operating While Intoxicated, Failure to Maintain Control, and No Driver's License.
