DES MOINES, IA - A brief police chase in south Des Moines early Wednesday resulted in a crash and two suspects being detained.
According to a report by the Des Moines Police, the chase ensued near the intersection of Southwest 4th Street and Thornton Avenue at about 4:28 a.m. Officers pursued the suspect vehicle for several blocks until it crashed out near South Union Street and Park Avenue a short time later.

No injuries were reported as an immediate result of the crash. However, two individuals were detained at the scene.
