CEDAR RAPIDS, IA - According to the Linn County Sheriff's Office, a motorcyclist was injured after he collided with a deer at 4931 Ellis Rd on Monday.

A 69-year-old male was riding a motorcycle west on Ellis Rd when he hit the deer and came to rest in a ditch.
Rescue crews transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital with serious injuries.
