SPRINGVILLE, IA - According to KCRG, officials have disclosed more information on the fatal two-vehicle collision near Springville Rd and Schmidt Ln Tuesday.
A 31-year-old man was driving south Springville Rd when he strayed into the northbound lanes of traffic and collided with a vehicle driven by a 46-year-old man head-on around 2:35 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the 46-year-old dead at the scene of the accident.
Authorities charged the 31-year-old driver with OWI, failure to maintain control, and homicide by vehicle-OUI.
