DES MOINES, IA - According to We Are Iowa, a motorcyclist was hurt in a wreck near I-235 EB and 31st St on Saturday.
A pickup truck driver was heading west on I-235 when one of their front tires broke loose, bounced into the eastbound lanes of traffic, and knocked the 44-year-old motorcyclist off his bike around 4:20 p.m. The motorcycle then slid and caught on fire.
Rescue crews transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital in critical condition.
