ANKENY, IA- The right shoulder of the I-35 northbound in Ankeny was closed due to a vehicle fire on Thursday afternoon, according to Statewide Iowa 511 Reporting.

At approximately 3:02pm, a vehicle fire closed the I-35 northbound right shoulder in between Exit 90 towards Oralabor Road and Exit 92 towards East 1st Street. No details on the cause of the crash or the presence of any related injuries have been released at this time.
