Danni has over fourteen years of experience litigating complex legal matters. She currently focuses her practice on litigating family law matters, including dissolution of marriage, custody, domestic abuse and termination of parental right cases. She also handles employment law cases including discrimination, wrongful termination and sexual harassment.
Danni received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management with honors from Baylor University in 1996. In 1999, Danni graduated from Drake University Law School and was admitted to the Texas bar in 2000. She worked as an Assistant District Attorney with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office prosecuting domestic abuse, DWI, assault, robbery and felony narcotics cases until 2003 when she left to become a solo practitioner focusing her practice on family law matters in the Juvenile and Family Law Courts. Danni moved back to Iowa and joined Iowa Legal Aid in 2008 as a staff attorney. She represented victims of domestic violence in the Women’s Equal Justice Project and as the Violence against Women’s Act attorney during her time at Iowa Legal Aid.
